God has promised that each of us can have a real and living relationship with Him. This is possible because of Jesus who also enables us to demonstrate this love in our lives as we love one another.

We celebrate our relationship with God through worship where He promises to meet with us really and personally.

God is real, not a fairy tale, not a story made up by sad people with too much time on their hands.  He has shown His love to us through Jesus, and shows His life changing power to us by His Holy Spirit. He is very much alive and meets with us to make a real and lasting difference in our everday lives and communities.

If this has not been your experience of 'church' or of you want it to be your experience, why not join us?

Jesus is Gods love made real,

the church is Jesus love brought to you

We belong to the Vineyard family of churches and believe that God has great plans for Weardale.

Our hope is that we can grow as a community that demonstrates God's love to one another and  to those around us.

We are a 'community' church because we believe that we are called to live out our faith and serve  God in the heart of our community, to show practical care and offer real opportunities to explore and experience what God's purposes are for each one of us.
