Jesus is Gods love made real,

the church is Jesus love brought to you

Weardale Vineyard Community Church | West Auckland Vineyard Church

one church | two sites | one aim

" declare and demonstrate the Kingdom of God in our communities..."

God has promised that each of us can have a real and living relationship with Him. This is possible because of Jesus who also enables us to demonstrate this love in our lives as we love one another.

We celebrate our relationship with God through worship where He promises to meet with us really and personally.

God is real, not a fairy tale, not a story made up by sad people with too much time on their hands.  He has shown His love to us through Jesus, and shows His life changing power to us by His Holy Spirit. He is very much alive and meets with us to make a real and lasting difference in our everday lives and communities.

If this has not been your experience of 'church' or of you want it to be your experience, why not join us?

WVCC | COVID-19 Update

‘Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.’ (Joshua 1:9)

Our desire is to be a people of faith, not fear. We believe God speaks peace into our lives, and has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love. We know that there is no need for us to be anxious about anything and yet, we also want to recognise the real and genuine concern in our nation right now as the Coronavirus continues to spread and affect our communities.

We believe it is right that WVCC should comply with the latest Government guidelines in order to protect the vulnerable in society and minimize the strain on the NHS, and so we have decided that for the time being we will not be able to meet together on Sundays or for any of our mid-week meetings.

If you need any pastoral or practical support during this time, get in touch and we will do everything we can to help you.

We are based at...

The Durham Dales Centre, Stanhope, and usually meet on Sunday mornings at 10.30. - Due to the Coronavirus we have temporarily cancelled our meetings together until further notice.

We love to worship and experience the presence of God together, but nothing is as important as having a personal relationship with Jesus. God is beyond space and time and Jesus is in the boat with us (Matthew 8 v 23-27), He is with us wherever we are, and The Holy Spirit will unite us as we enter into the Throne Room (Hebrews 4:16).  In these unusual times be encouraged to set aside time to worship, read the scriptures, and pray for each other, our neighbours, our government and our nation.
